Flatten non-string doc props to string doc props

Modified on Mon, 5 Oct at 1:52 PM

This functionality converts non-text valued document properties to their textual value. For instance, "yes/no" is converted to "true/false". This is useful for old documents, where the client may have used a type of value that is not text, as Templafy can only work with text values.

This can be handy when combined with Convert legacy documents to Templafy documents, since DCU does not support non-text value document properties, e.g. Ericsson legacy module.

CMD

<Cmd case="BaseExtensions:flatten-docprops" names="x"/>

Parameter

names

Define the name of the document properties to be flatten (if found). The names is a semicolon separated list of all document properties that are supposed to be remapped. If the key is not present, it is skipped and will continue through the list.

Here is an example:

XML
<Cmd case="BaseExtensions:flatten-docprops" names="teste;chkPrep;Prepared;chkAppr;ApprovedBy;chkDocNo;DocNo;chkRev;Revision;chkDate;Date;chkTitle;Title;chkConf;SecurityClass;chkExtConf;ExtConf;Pages"/>
