With this new agenda feature, the user is able to customize the agenda. To do this, an editable slide must be added where it is possible to perform customization, whereafter these changes can be saved as the agenda slide.
Before customization, it is important to make sure that the agenda slide is called "Agenda" in Slide Master. Also, this slide (in Slide Master) must not contain some kind of agenda content before creating the agenda.
For customization, follow these steps:
1. Click "Add Editable Slide"
This will add a new slide as the last slide in the presentation, which contains several elements; an active element, a margin element and an inactive element for both title and subtitle configuration. Furthermore, it contains a section header, agenda point numbers and slide indexes.
When the editable slide opens for the first time, it looks like this:
This is due to an improvement of the performance when using the editable slide. If needed, we are able to toggle the visibility of the remaining elements, thus the subtitles, slide indexes and slide numbers can be added or removed from the editable slide.
The active element indicates what agenda point the user has come to, if there are more than one agenda slide in the presentation. The inactive element represents other agenda points.
Now, the user is able to perform customizations by changing the active element and the inactive element. The margin element is not to be edited.
When all elements are present, the editable slide will look like this:
The customization can include changes in font, colors, sizes, margins, etc. The margin between the active element and the margin element indicates the margin between the active agenda point and others agenda points, while the margin between the margin element and the inactive element indicates the margin between inactive agenda points.
The format of the agenda point numbers and the slide indexes can be customized due to how the user want it to be. If writing a single 0 in the elements, the numbers in the agenda slide(s) will be shown as they are, e.g. "1", "2", "3", etc., while there will be a 0 before the numbers in the agenda slide(s) when writing 00 in the elements, e.g. "01", "02", "03", an so on. There can be inserted as many 0's as wanted and the last one will always represent the actual index number.
The section header, agenda point numbers, slide indexes and the elements for configuration of subtitles can be deleted if they should not be a part of the agenda.
Floating shapes
It is possible to have floating shapes between index number and agenda point reference. To do so, insert desired shape in the editable slide. For instance, this could be a vertical separator. Make sure that the shape is named "Active Design Element" or "Inactive Design Element" depending on whether the shape belongs to the active or inactive design element. The active design element is also supported in the subtitles. Here, the shape must be named "Active Subtitle Design Element" or "Inactive Subtitle Design Element".
2. Click "Save as Agenda"
This will save the changes made in the editable slide as the agenda slide and remove the editable slide from the presentation.
3. Click "Update Agenda"
This will update the entire agenda and from now on apply the customization to agenda slides when adding agenda points.
4. Add agenda points
Now, the user will be able to see the customization when agenda points are added. Also, several agenda slides can be inserted, and these will highlight an agenda point, if the specific agenda point is located at the next slide after the inserted agenda slide. When user removes agenda points, they will automatically be removed from agenda slides.
