3.7. Signature management
Signature management refers to the automatic insertion of a scanned image of a signature in the closing section of a document, where the document was created from a template using signature management. Which signature is inserted will be determined based on the sender details selected for the document.
Each user should have their signature image stored in the signatures system folder (described in section 3.1.6. Signatures). The image file must be named with the user’s username and be a valid image file format, as listed in 3.1.6. Signatures . In addition, the images must have the dimensions that are desired in the final document, as they are not scaled to fit upon insertion.
When a user creates a document using a template with signature management, DynamicTemplate will search for a signature image file with a name matching the user profile (as created in the user ID) selected in the sender details section of the template dialog box.
If an image file is found that matches the search parameters (name and format), it will be inserted into the document signature section. If no matching file is found, then no file will be inserted.
