A Profile folder in FileUpdater context has the following logic for locations on a client machine:

We are moving to a new support portal
Our customer support is moving to a new system soon. The portal stays at support.omnidocs.com, so any bookmark or link you already have will keep working.
If you have a ticket open with us when we move, it will automatically be moved to our new system.
