Disable license missing prompt

Modified on Mon, 5 Oct at 1:55 PM

When a license is missing, the user will be prompt with a dialogue. We are able to disable this dialogue by locating a file in the root folder in the SDUP concerned.

Before elaborating how to do that, notice that we should never disable in a client's solution as our consultants must be prompted to ensure that they do not forget license.

1) Create a text file named OptOut.txt.

2) This text file should contain nothing but the word true.

3) Locate the text file in the root folder of Alloy (next to Common).

4) Get the latest Alloy from this path:

Code
...\SD.Installers\AlloyBase\SDUP\files\ProgramData\OfficeExtensions\Common\Addin

And paste into your SDUP here:

...\ProgramData\OfficeExtensions\Common\Addin
